Kiss my Cattle Prod

I saw this on Vagabondish:

Is it too late to have this express shipped before I fly on Friday? Whenever I travel to Vietnam with my loads of overweight baggage (destined for others, of course), I always seem to win the “you’ve been randomly chosen to have your bags thoroughly searched and X-Rayed” lottery. This would come in handy.

  1. Funny, I find the best way to win that “random” lottery drawing is to carry a laptop. For some reason, the TSA just loves folks w/ laptops.

  3. I find that lone female travellers usualy win that lottery. I offen tell the people at the airport that terrorists are not good looking, so leave me alone. Still does not work.

  5. Oh that is fab - but somehow I seriously doubt that US Immigration would see the funny side. Try it if you come to England though, we’d have a good laugh with it :-)

The only time I’ve ever had the ‘your bags were checked’ notice was when I returned from Florida, and although everything was packed back to the way I’d packed it, several small gifts were broken (even though they’d been very well protected). B*stards…

  7. Yeah, I wouldn’t risk it with US customs! I can’t believe your gifts were broken! In Vietnam, back in the old days at least, our books would arrive with pages missing and areas blacked out with pen…quite funny.
